Early Childhood | Resources to help teach about the events highlighted this month.

Black History Month

In this learning activity, students will read a story about the artist Ernie Barnes and look at some of his artwork. They will then draw a picture of something they try hard to be good at and write a few words, phrases or sentences about it.
After learning about the life of Martin Luther King Jr., have students try this activity. Drag the events in King's life into the boxes to put them into the correct order. When you hover your mouse over each event, it will be read to them, so it can be used with younger children.
