Houses

People live in all different kinds of houses. Sometimes it is because of the weather where they live, if it is very hot or cold. Other houses are built from things that can be found in the area, such as wood, ice or bricks.

Listen to and read the story on the Web site below. After you learn about houses, create a picture of your own house. Cut different shapes out of construction paper and glue them on paper to make your house.

Then, write down 5 words that describe your house.
