Outdoor sports can be great fun, but they can also be dangerous. It is important to know how to protect yourself and prevent injuries while playing outdoor sports.
Choose a sport you are interested in and read about it on one of the Web sites below. Make a list of all the protective gear you should wear while playing this sport. Include how each item protects you.
Then, draw a picture of yourself wearing the gear for the sport you chose. Label each item and tell how it protects you. You will be sharing your drawing with the class.
Objective:
Students will draw a picture of themselves dressed in the appropriate protective gear for a particular sport. They will label each piece and tell how it protects them.
