Playground Games

Playing games at recess is a lot of fun for most children, but for some, it is a stressful time. Games require a level of ability to play and not all children can achieve that level. This results in hurt feelings and sometimes being left out.

Read over the rules for the 8 playground games at the Web site below. Think about how these games can be changed to include children of all abilities.

Using word processing software, rewrite the rules of the game to benefit all students. Try to keep the basic idea of the game while modifying it to benefit all children.
