Without your bones, you would be a pile of skin and organs. You would not be able to stand up. There would be no support to your body.

2. Read the information about bones. Take notes.
3. Click on the "Healthy Bones" link below.
4. Read about ways to keep your bones strong and healthy. Take notes.
5. Click on the "Pasta Skeleton" link below.
6. Follow the directions and use the craft supplies given to you to make a skeleton.
7. When you are finished making your skeleton, use your notes to label 5 of the bones with a white crayon.

Lesson Name:   The Human Skeleton
Objective:   Students will learn about the human skeleton. Students will be able to list ways to keep their bones healthy. Students will be able to label the major bones in the human skeleton. Students will create a skeleton out of pasta and art supplies.

Interactive Whiteboard Tip:   The class can go to the first two Web sites together on the interactive whiteboard. These sites can be displayed on the whiteboard while they are taking notes. Students can also go up to the whiteboard to underline any important facts on the Web sites with the pen/markers.
