Courageous Kids

Read several of the stories on the Web site below about courageous kids. Choose 3 that you would like to report on.

First, write down what you learned about being a courageous kid in each story. Then, on drawing paper, create 3 cartoons or drawings that show what you have learned. Include a headline on each of your pages to catch people's attention.

All pictures will be put into a class book to be displayed for the school.

Interactive Whiteboard Tip:   Read the stories on the "Courageous Kids" Web site together as a class. Display the site on the interactive whiteboard and have the students click on and read the stories aloud. If students create their drawing using painting software, these can also be shared with the class on the whiteboard.
