Directions

Think of an activity for which you will write directions. For example, you might wish to show someone how to bake brownies. Then, go to the first Web site below and read about the parts of a sentence. Using the graphic organizer on the second Web site, write down the directions explaining how to do this activity.

After you have written your directions in the graphic organizer, create a presentation for your directions using slide show software. To do this, create a slide for each step in the directions. (If there are 5 steps, there will be 5 slides.) Add any pictures or graphics to each slide that would make your presentation more interesting and easier to understand.
