Biography Maker Project

Choose a person to write a biography about. Click on the first site below and go to the Biography Maker. Follow the steps to guide you through the process of writing a biography.

Further research on the individual will be required. You can use the second and third site listed below to search for information for your biography.

Use a word processing program to type your biography and add graphics. Refer to the "Six Traits of Effective Writing" on the Biography Maker Web site while proofreading your work.

Lesson Name:   Biography Maker Project
Objective:   Students will write a biography by identifying 4-5 questions to answer, researching and developing answers to the questions, sorting the information and creating well-formed paragraphs. Students will proofread their biography using the Six Traits of Effective Writing.
