Literary Movements

Click on the links below about Gothic Literature and Romanticism and research the movements using the Web sites.

Write a 2-page essay in a word processor about these movements. The essay must include an introduction, themes, styles, and authors who wrote during these movements.

You must also compare and contrast the two movements citing examples.

Your essay should be done in a 12 pt Arial font with double-spacing. Be sure to include your name and to use spell check before handing it in.

Objective:   Students will learn about literary movements. Students will write a 2-page essay about two literary movements containing their themes, styles and authors that wrote in these movements. Students will then compare and contrast the two movements and give examples.
