General Coordinates Game

1. Click on the General Coordinates Game link below.

2. Click on the "Learner" tab and read the description of the General Coordinates Game.

3. After reading, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on and read "Introduction to the Coordinate Plane and Coordinates."

4. When you are finished reading, click on the "Maze Game" link at the bottom of the page to return to the game.

5. Set the number of mines to 5.

6. In the Internet toolbar, click on File and then select print to print out the game board. Help the robot reach the green target without hitting a mine.

7. On your paper, write down the steps you used to reach the green target. For example, go up to coordinate (-10,0).

8. After you have completed the mission, label the coordinates of each of the mines.

9. Write your name on the top of the game and hand it in at the end of class.
