Fraction Frenzy
You will be learning about fractions. Everything can be broken down into parts and looked at as a fraction.
Click on the first Web site and read over lessons 1-5. Take notes as you read. Always try the examples at the bottom of the page before going on to the next lesson.
After you read all five lessons, click on the other three Web sites and complete the learning activities by using what you have just read about fractions and your prior knowledge from class.
In the AAA math Web site, do the activity, "What Fraction of the Square is Blue?" Do this for one minute and see how many you get correct.
In the "Fresh Baked Fractions" activity, decide which fraction does not equal the other fractions.
When you are finished, go to the fourth Web site (Superkids.com) and select 20 as the number to use for the maximum value. Click "Make My Worksheet" and print this worksheet for homework.
