Family History Report

Your family history is very important. In this activity, you will learn about the life and culture of past generations.

Develop a list of 10 questions to interview one or more of your grandparents. If grandparents are unavailable, conduct interviews with your parents or aunts and uncles. If the grandparent lives far away, set up a phone interview. The purpose of the interview is to gain knowledge about where you and your family hails from. Use the Web sites below to help you in developing your interview questions.

Type your interview into a Word Processor; make sure to type the question with the answer.

After you have completed your interview, complete a family tree. Go to the Ancestral Chart link below and print the chart provided. Fill out the chart using the information you gathered in your interview. You many include photos if you like.
