Distance Formula

Click on the "Length of a Line Segment" link below to learn about finding the distance of line segments using graph paper. Write down the three methods.

Click on the "Distance Formula" link below and add any important formulas to the three methods you learned about at the previous site. When you get to the link that says "Now You Try It," answer the question by filling in the boxes with the correct numbers. Write your steps and the answer on a piece of paper. After you have solved the equation, click on "Another Question." Repeat this three times.

Go to the "Practice" link below and print the practice examples for homework. Show all your work on a separate piece of paper.
